In Dubai, UAE, du, under Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC), collaborated with Huawei for a two-day educational event aimed at fostering Emirati talent. This initiative supports the UAE’s strategy for sustainable employment and professional growth, aligning with national development goals.

The event, held at du’s headquarters and Dubai Academic City, brought together students from prestigious institutions such as the American University in Dubai, Zayed University, the Higher College of Technology, the University of Dubai, and the United Arab Emirates University. These students, from various academic backgrounds, had the chance to engage with industry leaders, delve into the telecommunications sector, and see the practical applications of their studies.

Fatema Al Afeefi, Head of Employee Experience & HR Digitalization at du, highlighted the initiative’s role in contributing to the UAE’s socio-economic growth.
