Moroccan startup Userguest, specializing in optimizing hotel revenues through its automated tool, has successfully raised $2.4 million in a seed funding round to fuel its rapid expansion and innovation. Founded in 2018, Userguest enhances direct revenue for hotels by offering personalized messages and incentives tailored to website visitors.
The recent funding round, amounting to EUR2.2 million ($2.4 million), was spearheaded by Al Mada Ventures and saw participation from CDG Invest, Saviu Ventures, UM6P Ventures, Kalys VC, Plug & Play, along with notable business angels Philippe Limes and Thane Kuhlman.
Userguest co-founder Hicham Benyebdri expressed his enthusiasm about the investment: “This funding not only validates our investors’ faith in our vision but also sets the stage for us to advance our product and expand our market reach, ultimately enhancing the performance of hotels and enriching the travel experience for guests.”
Currently operating in over 30 countries, Userguest has facilitated over $100 million in direct hotel revenues since 2019. The startup plans to use the new funds to accelerate growth, develop innovative features, and expand its sales team to strengthen its presence in key markets.
