Egypt-based fintech company Bokra, in collaboration with the Canadian International College (CIC), has launched a USD 200,000 fund aimed at supporting Egyptian students who aspire to become entrepreneurs. This initiative introduces “Bokra Academy,” a platform designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry by equipping students with the guidance and resources needed to succeed in the business world.
Bokra Academy seeks to provide students with essential skills through certified educational courses, offering a pathway to employment or access to funding for entrepreneurial ventures. This initiative is part of a broader effort to create a more dynamic and digitally empowered business environment in Egypt, aligning with the vision of a ‘Digital Egypt.’
Last year, Bokra successfully raised USD 4.6 million in a pre-seed funding round.
