Zain Honors Winners of Kuwait CyberChamps Competition, Supports Youth Cybersecurity Skills

Zain Kuwait, through its strategic partnership with the Kuwait CyberChamps Competition, joined in honoring the winners at a ceremony held at Kuwait University. The competition, organized by IDRAK Training and Consultancy in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the National Cybersecurity Center, aimed to enhance technological and cybersecurity skills among students.

The event, under the patronage of the Minister of Education, Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabaei, saw Team MPSG take first place, followed by Team Zero Day Hunters in second, and Team Security Champs in third. Zain’s Enterprise Risk Management Department Manager, Faisal Al-Ali, participated as a judge on the evaluation panel.

Zain’s Chief Corporate Affairs and Relations Officer, Waleed Al-Khashti, expressed the company’s pride in supporting the competition and reaffirmed Zain’s commitment to empowering the next generation with the necessary skills to address digital challenges. He highlighted the importance of educational programs that instill cybersecurity awareness, emphasizing the role of youth in tackling modern technological threats, particularly in the age of AI.

Zain’s involvement in this initiative is part of its broader Innovation Nation program, which focuses on fostering innovation, technical skills, and entrepreneurship in Kuwait, especially in the STEM fields. The competition also provided students with valuable opportunities to interact with industry experts and explore careers in cybersecurity.
