Fifteen Egyptian tech startups showcased their innovations at the launch of Invest-IT, a nationwide programme by the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) under the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA). The programme, in collaboration with Flat6Labs, aims to enhance investment readiness for seed and pre-Series A startups across Egypt.
Invest-IT is designed to help emerging entrepreneurs secure funding, scale operations, and drive sustainable economic growth through innovation. The programme supports startups in various sectors, including cybersecurity, AI, fleet management, logistics, and e-learning. The featured startups include companies such as The White Guard, Dragify, HNDL, and Skoolix.
Ahmed El-Zaher, CEO of ITIDA, emphasized the programme’s importance in empowering startups during their critical investment readiness phase. The initiative is part of ITIDA’s broader strategy to foster a resilient tech ecosystem, offering support from university innovation to facilitating access to funding and strategic partnerships.
