The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication has announced that Pakistan will host a National Artificial Intelligence Conference in early 2026, aimed at strengthening the country’s AI ecosystem and accelerating the adoption of emerging technologies across key sectors.
The conference will bring together startups, technology companies, researchers, policymakers, and industry experts to explore developments in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analytics, and innovation strategies. Discussions will focus on practical AI applications in healthcare, education, agriculture, fintech, e-governance, and cybersecurity.
As part of the event, startups will have the opportunity to showcase AI-driven products and solutions, while investors and industry leaders will explore collaboration and partnership opportunities. The platform is expected to support knowledge exchange, highlight local innovation, and connect Pakistan’s AI community with global trends and best practices.
The initiative aligns with Pakistan’s broader digital policy framework, which emphasizes innovation-led growth, talent development, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence. By convening stakeholders from across the public and private sectors, the conference aims to position AI as a key enabler of economic development and digital transformation in Pakistan.
