Snoonu, Namaa Sign MoU to Support Qatar Entrepreneurs

Qatar’s leading technology platform Snoonu and Namaa Social Incubator — a centre under the Qatar Foundation for Social Work — have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to extend digital platform access and business support to entrepreneurs in Namaa’s incubation programs.

Under the agreement, incubated businesses will gain access to Snoonu’s platform and logistics infrastructure, along with mentorship, technical support, training workshops, and marketing exposure. The partnership targets inclusion-focused segments including home-based businesses, social security beneficiaries, and people with disabilities.

Both parties framed the collaboration as a model for public-private partnership in support of Qatar National Vision 2030 and the country’s economic diversification agenda.

Editor’s Note: The Snoonu-Namaa tie-up is part of a broader pattern across the GCC in which delivery and super-app platforms are being recruited as vehicles for SME formalisation and social inclusion — a trend MEA Tech Watch has tracked in Bahrain with Keeta’s parallel SME initiative. Worth watching whether these platform-as-infrastructure partnerships produce measurable uplift for the targeted segments, or remain largely MoU-stage commitments.
