Arab Financial Services and Nsano Form Strategic Partnership to Boost Digital Payments in Sub-Saharan Africa

Arab Financial Services (AFS), a leading digital payment solutions provider in the Middle East and Africa, has entered a strategic partnership with Nsano, a prominent pan-African payment processor and mobile money aggregator based in Accra. The collaboration aims to enhance digital payment options across Sub-Saharan Africa by combining the expertise of both companies.

Under this agreement, Nsano will integrate AFS’s advanced card processing services into its existing mobile money infrastructure. This will enable Nsano to offer Visa and Mastercard processing, including both issuing and acquiring services, to financial institutions and merchants across the region. The partnership seeks to revolutionize the payment ecosystem by connecting mobile money with card payments, combining the technological strengths and knowledge of AFS and Nsano.

Samer Soliman, CEO of AFS, commented, “This collaboration expands our footprint into Africa, a region with immense potential for growth in digital payments. By merging our card processing capabilities with Nsano’s mobile money expertise, we aim to provide impactful solutions that enhance financial access and convenience for millions of users.”

Priscila Hazel, CEO of Nsano, highlighted the transformative potential of the partnership, saying, “The decision to partner with AFS was simple as both organizations share a customer-first approach. We are committed to enhancing financial inclusion by providing solutions that address customer pain points. This partnership will enable us to extend digital financial services to more users, empowering financial institutions and merchants across the continent.”

With Nsano’s in-depth knowledge of the African payment landscape and AFS’s established track record in card processing and payment solutions, the partnership is set to nurture innovation, accessibility, and efficiency in Sub-Saharan Africa’s payment ecosystem, creating a significant impact for businesses in key markets across the region.
