Omani Tech Startups Secure Over $10 Million in Agreements at LEAP 2025

Riyadh: On the second day of Oman’s participation in LEAP 2025 in Riyadh, nine cooperation agreements were signed between Omani startup tech companies and international firms, totaling over $10 million. The agreements were signed at the Oman Pavilion, with the presence of Dr. Ali Amer Al Shidhani, Undersecretary for Communications and Information Technology at the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology, and several CEOs and representatives from Omani and Saudi firms.

Global Semiconductor & Microelectronics (GSME), a company founded in Oman through an international partnership, signed a significant agreement with Saudi company e-Photonics worth approximately $10 million. The agreement focuses on collaboration in semiconductors, electronics, and 3D computer vision solutions, promoting knowledge exchange and research.

DataMining, an Omani tech company, secured a $1 million agreement with Saudi firm AlJazeera Falcons. This partnership will focus on software development, artificial intelligence, and the production of electronic products for the Saudi market.

Several other Omani companies under the Oman Information and Communications Technology Group (ITHCA Group) also signed agreements with international firms. Mubasher, specializing in digital advertising screen solutions, signed a $1 million deal with Saudi company OOMCO. Meanwhile, Osos, another ITHCA Group company, successfully concluded six agreements related to software solutions, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, applications, and technical support, marking a significant expansion for Omani startups in international markets.
