Orange Egypt has kicked off the Orange Egypt Artificial Intelligence Hackathon 2025 at its Smart Village headquarters, emphasizing its commitment to driving innovation and preparing young talent for the digital future. The two-day event, held on February 8 and 9, gathered top tech talents from leading Egyptian universities, supported by experts in technology and entrepreneurship.
Under the theme “Where Ideas Spark,” the hackathon invited computer science and engineering students from Cairo University, Ain Shams University, ESLSCA Egypt University, the American University in Cairo, and the German University in Cairo.
The competition challenged participants to devise AI-driven solutions for real-world problems, working under the guidance of specialized judging panels. Orange Egypt’s leaders and technology-focused HR specialists mentored and evaluated the competing teams throughout the event.
To foster innovation, Orange Egypt provided exceptional technical support, ensuring participants had the resources they needed to succeed. The winning teams were awarded valuable cash prizes via the Orange Cash wallet, along with industry recognition and future growth opportunities.
