Maroc Telecom’s Supervisory Board has appointed Mohamed Benchâaboun as Chairman of the Management Board for a two-year term, effective March 1, 2025. He replaces Abdeslam Ahizoune, whose leadership has been pivotal in the company’s growth and pan-African expansion over the past 27 years.
The board also renewed the terms of four other Management Board members — Brahim Boudaoud, Hassan Rachad, François Vitte, and Abdelkader Maamar — until March 1, 2027. Benchâaboun’s appointment is expected to play a key role in the strategic development of Maroc Telecom’s activities. The company expressed its gratitude to Ahizoune for his contributions and leadership.
The board extended its congratulations to Benchâaboun and wished him success in his new role.
