Jazz Leads Mobile Network Performance in Pakistan, Tops Opensignal’s Latest Report

Jazz has claimed the top spot in key categories of Opensignal’s Mobile Network Experience Report, cementing its leadership in coverage and connectivity across Pakistan. The report highlights Jazz’s dominance in 4G availability, coverage experience, live video experience, and upload speeds, outperforming its competitors in several key metrics.

According to Opensignal, Jazz achieved the highest 4G availability score of 90.4, surpassing Zong (89.0), Telenor (84.4), and Ufone (79.9). The company also led the overall coverage experience with a score of 6.3 out of 10, followed by Zong (5.3), Telenor (4.8), and Ufone (3.3).

In the live video experience category, Jazz secured a leading score of 35, well ahead of Ufone (31.4), Zong (29.4), and Telenor (20.2). Similarly, Jazz also topped the upload speed category with an average of 6.1 Mbps, followed by Zong (5.9 Mbps), Ufone (3.8 Mbps), and Telenor (1.8 Mbps).

Jazz’s strong performance in Opensignal’s new Coverage Experience metric, which measures network accessibility across geographic areas, was also noteworthy, earning a score of 6.1. Zong (5.5), Telenor (4.8), and Ufone (3.1) trailed behind.

In addition to Opensignal’s findings, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) report highlighted Jazz’s continued leadership in Pakistan’s telecom sector, holding a 46.3% revenue market share and serving over 72 million customers, including over 51 million 4G users. Jazz recently completed the shutdown of its 3G network as part of its “4G for All” strategy, reallocating spectrum to improve user experience.
