NILESAT and RASCOM have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a Marketing Service Contract, marking the start of a strategic partnership aimed at advancing space science and satellite technology. The MoU focuses on enhancing collaboration in satellite capacity sales, training, innovation, and research, with both organizations committing to sharing knowledge, platforms, applications, and satellite infrastructure. This partnership is designed to foster the growth of space technology in Africa and the Middle East.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Hesham Sallam, Chief Commercial Officer of NILESAT, and Mr. Timothy Ashong, Director General of RASCOM.
