GIZ Egypt recently hosted a landmark Digital Transformation Forum in Cairo, bringing together key government officials, private sector leaders, and industry experts. The event highlighted Egypt’s national efforts to empower its industrial sector through the integration of advanced Industry 4.0 technologies.
The forum saw participation from influential organizations such as the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), the Industrial Modernization Center (IMC), and the Chamber of Information Technology and Communication (CIT). It also included representatives from Banque Du Caire (BDC), the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST), and industry leaders like INTEGRATION International Management Consultants GmbH, the Egyptian Association for Industrial Technology (Egypt4Industry), and the Egyptian International Pharmaceutical Industries Company (EIPICO).
With over 70 key stakeholders in attendance, the forum served as a dynamic platform for raising awareness and discussing the practical applications of Industry 4.0, further reinforcing Egypt’s commitment to modernizing its industrial landscape.
