NBK Partners with Weyay Bank to Deliver Exclusive Digital Banking for Employees

The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) has launched a new initiative in collaboration with Weyay Bank, Kuwait’s first digital bank, to provide its employees with an advanced and exclusive digital banking experience. This move reflects NBK’s commitment to empowering its workforce while aligning with modern lifestyle needs through innovative financial solutions.

Through the Weyay Bank app, NBK employees gain access to a comprehensive suite of digital services designed to enhance financial well-being. These include seamless account management, smart financial tools such as real-time expense tracking and budgeting, and fast money transfers. The platform also features a digital marketplace for purchasing cards and managing mobile services, including packages from stc Telecom.

Employees will benefit from innovative savings tools such as “Saving Pots,” which allow goal-setting, interest-earning options, and spending control through balance-hiding and temporary locking features. Additionally, NBK staff can issue a “Jeel” card for children aged 8–14, equipped with parental controls to promote early financial literacy.

Emad Al-Ablani, NBK’s Group Chief Human Resources Officer, emphasized that the partnership is about integrating banking into employees’ everyday lives, helping them achieve financial and personal goals while boosting job satisfaction. Amal Al-Duwaisan, Head of Weyay Bank, added that the initiative showcases Weyay’s role in redefining banking with flexible, accessible digital solutions that keep pace with rapid technological changes.

This collaboration highlights NBK’s vision of investing in employee growth while reinforcing Weyay Bank’s position as a leader in digital transformation in Kuwait’s banking sector.
