Doha, October 22 (QNA) — The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) announced the winners of the 9th edition of the Qatar Digital Business Award 2025, celebrating innovation and excellence in digital transformation across the country. The ceremony was held under the patronage of HE Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mohammed bin Ali Al Mannai, who personally honored the winners.
The awards continue to serve as a national platform recognizing organizations and individuals driving Qatar’s digital transformation, fostering public-private collaboration, and advancing the nation’s vision of a knowledge-based economy.
Speaking at the event, HE Al Mannai emphasized that the awards have become a symbol of technological creativity and a key enabler of innovation. He highlighted that emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and data analytics are transforming national industries by improving efficiency and service delivery.
“Qatar’s leadership in digital transformation is the result of long-term strategic vision and continuous effort,” His Excellency said. “Startups and SMEs are at the core of this success — they play a vital role in shaping the digital economy and positioning Qatar as a regional leader in innovation and competitiveness.”
This year’s edition attracted 341 submissions from companies across key sectors. Following a rigorous four-stage evaluation process conducted by an independent panel of 35 experts, 40 projects advanced to the final round before winners were selected across 13 award categories.

HE Reem Al Mansoori, Assistant Undersecretary of Digital Industry Affairs at MCIT, praised the event’s growing impact. “The Qatar Digital Business Award reflects our commitment to nurturing the national digital ecosystem and empowering institutions to innovate,” she said. “The maturity seen this year confirms that digital investment is now a core pillar of sustainable economic growth in Qatar.”
