MoITT Approves Flagship Tech Programs to Boost Digital Innovation and Youth TrainingIgnite Board launches cloud support for startups, AI and SAP training, and nationwide cybersecurity hackathon

Islamabad — October 30, 2025:
The Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT), through its subsidiary Ignite Board, has approved a comprehensive set of flagship initiatives designed to fast-track Pakistan’s digital transformation, empower startups, and build a future-ready workforce.

Prime Minister’s Cloud Program for Startups

At the heart of the new initiatives is the Prime Minister’s Cloud Program, which will provide Pakistani startups access to global cloud infrastructure through a structured cloud credit support system. The program aims to lower technology barriers, enhance scalability, and enable entrepreneurs to compete effectively in international markets.

Code4AI Program: Training 7,500 in Emerging Technologies

The Code4AI Program will train 7,500 individuals in Python, JavaScript, and Java, emphasizing artificial intelligence (AI) application development. The curriculum also includes blockchain technologies such as Ethereum, Solidity, and Hyperledger, along with quantum computing and prompt engineering, ensuring participants gain cutting-edge skills for tomorrow’s digital economy.

Cybersecurity Hackathon 2025: Expanding Nationwide

The Digital Pakistan Cyber Security Hackathon 2025 will be held across six cities, accompanied by training workshops in 16 cities for over 3,000 participants.
Highlights include:

  • Rs 6.5 million in cash prizes
  • Rs 12 million in international training vouchers
  • Rs 27 million in sponsorships for global cybersecurity competitions
    A three-day exclusive cybersecurity training will also be organized for government officials, strengthening institutional cyber readiness.

Regional Empowerment: NIC Quetta 2.0

In Balochistan, the upgraded National Incubation Center (NIC) Quetta 2.0 will soon be operational, supporting over 70 entrepreneurs annually. It will provide mentorship, training, and investor linkages to help transform regional innovations into sustainable businesses.

SAP Training Program: Building a Global Talent Pipeline

The SAP Training Program will certify 2,500 Pakistani youth in enterprise software systems, preparing them for global job opportunities and positioning Pakistan as a regional hub for SAP-certified professionals.

Driving a Digital and Inclusive Future

According to MoITT, these initiatives underscore the government’s long-term commitment to nurturing a skilled, inclusive, and innovation-led digital economy. The programs collectively aim to empower youth, strengthen cybersecurity, and catalyze startup growth, enabling Pakistan to take a leading role in the global technology ecosystem.
