Beyon Solutions, a subsidiary of Beyon Group (Bahrain Telecommunications Company) and owner of Bahrain’s leading telecom operator Batelco, has acquired Link Development, an Egyptian software solutions firm with operations in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. Financial details were not disclosed, but Beyon acquired a controlling stake in the firm.

Founded in 1996 by Khaled Bichara, Link Development provides technology solutions across various platforms and products for public and private sector organizations. Their services include cloud and infrastructure, data and analytics, operational excellence, strategy and consultancy, and enhancing employee and customer experiences.

Link Development operates through seven offices with a workforce of 700 employees, serving clients such as the Government of Dubai, the labor ministries of Egypt and Saudi Arabia, Islamic Development Bank, Magrabi, Bupa, Vodafone, and many others.

Beyon Solutions offers similar services, including cloud, application, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and consultancy. This acquisition expands Beyon’s footprint, creating one of the largest hubs for digital transformation services in the region.

Nicholas Toon, CEO of Beyon Solutions, said, “Integrating Link Development is a strategic move that aligns with our ambitions and enhances our service offerings across our regional group. The synergy created through this acquisition will augment Beyon Solutions’ portfolio and enable seamless delivery of cutting-edge digital solutions to our growing customer base.”

He added, “The team members within Link Development are exceptionally skilled, and I am confident that combined with our group’s capabilities, we will achieve great things.”

Hesham El Beih, CEO of Link Development, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, “Joining forces with Beyon Solutions enhances our ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences and expands our commercial reach into new regions.”

This acquisition marks the eighth exit for A15, the Egyptian investment firm, which previously had successful exits like Tpay and ConnectAds. Karim Beshara, Managing Partner of A15, praised the Link Development team’s achievements and expressed confidence that Beyon Solutions will accelerate growth and create significant value.

The deal will be finalized after receiving the required regulatory approvals in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
