The UAE’s Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office has entered into a strategic partnership with Rittal FZE, a subsidiary of Rittal GmbH & Co. KG from Germany. This collaboration aims to boost AI initiatives, enhance AI adoption and learning, and fortify the UAE’s digital infrastructure through international cooperation.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Saqr Binghalib, Executive Director of the UAE’s AI Office, and Syed Tahir Nazir, Managing Director of Rittal FZE, during the AI Retreat 2024 held in Dubai. Organized by the Dubai Centre for AI Applications in collaboration with the National Programme for Artificial Intelligence, the event attracted over 2,000 decision-makers, experts, and officials from both government and private sectors, focusing on accelerating AI application adoption.
Saqr Binghalib emphasized the UAE Government’s commitment to building skills and talents as essential components of the digital development journey, fostering a future based on intellect and creativity. He highlighted that strong government-private sector partnerships enhance the UAE’s position as a global AI hub, supporting national strategies to develop future competencies with the necessary digital tools.
Syed Tahir Nazir expressed Rittal FZE’s commitment to supporting the vision of the UAE’s AI Office. He noted that Rittal FZE aims to contribute to capacity building, knowledge enhancement, and technological advancements through AI innovations and smart applications, particularly in Robotics, Industry 4.0, and Green Technologies. Nazir also emphasized Rittal’s dedication to environmental protection and reducing carbon footprints through innovative products and solutions, collaborating with government and public sectors to secure a better future for communities and future generations.
