Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) is set to present its innovative digital initiatives, services, and programmes at the 44th Gitex Global, the world’s largest technology and startups event, from October 14 to 18 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Dewa’s exhibition will feature projects from Digital Dewa, the digital arm of the organization, which has established Dewa as the leading digital utility worldwide. Additionally, the stand will showcase AI-driven projects from Dewa subsidiaries, including Moro Hub, Digital X, and InfraX.
Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dewa, emphasized the significance of Gitex Global as a platform that gathers industry leaders to showcase the latest technological advancements, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for future technology. He highlighted Dewa’s participation as a means to demonstrate the utility’s advanced digital infrastructure and commitment to sustainability, aiming to contribute to Dubai’s ranking among the top 10 digital economies globally as part of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
