Pakistan Cricket Board Launches “PCB Live” — Its First-Ever OTT Streaming Platform

Lahore — October 9, 2025: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially launched its own over-the-top (OTT) streaming platform, PCB Live, marking a significant step toward digital transformation and global fan engagement. The new platform offers cricket enthusiasts direct access to live matches, exclusive content, and a rich archive of Pakistan’s cricketing history.

Initially launched for fans in the United Kingdom through a web-based service, PCB Live will allow users to stream the upcoming Test series between Pakistan and South Africa. A mobile app version of the platform is expected to go live in the UK by the end of October, with future expansion planned for other international markets.

The platform represents PCB’s first direct-to-consumer digital venture, combining live and on-demand offerings. Subscribers can access:

  • International fixtures and select domestic tournaments
  • Archival footage of Pakistan’s iconic cricketing moments
  • Exclusive content including highlights, documentaries, player interviews, and behind-the-scenes features

Upcoming tournaments such as the tri-nation series between Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka will also be streamed live on PCB Live.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi hailed the launch as a landmark moment for the organization and its fans:

“We are proud to launch our own OTT platform in an era where digital convenience shapes the fan experience. While PCB Live is starting in the UK, we plan to expand it globally so that fans everywhere can stay connected to Pakistan cricket.”

He emphasized that PCB Live will bring Pakistan cricket closer to its supporters, blending nostalgia with real-time access to the national team’s latest performances and behind-the-scenes stories.

The initiative positions the PCB among a growing number of sports bodies worldwide embracing digital streaming as a means to enhance accessibility, fan interaction, and revenue diversification.
