Zain Jordan earns multiple awards in 2025, reinforcing its leadership in digital transformation and sustainability

Zain Jordan closed 2025 with a series of prestigious regional and international awards, recognising its pioneering role in digital transformation, sustained investment in advanced telecommunications infrastructure, and leadership in innovation and sustainability. The accolades further reinforce the company’s position as a key driver of Jordan’s digital economy as it marks 30 years of impact in the national telecom sector.

Among the highlights, Zain Jordan received the Middle East Excellence Award 2025 for Technology Excellence from Asian Business Review for its regional data storage and disaster recovery centre, “The Bunker.” Recognised as the first facility of its kind in the region, the centre was built to the highest international standards and supports Jordan’s positioning as a regional technology and innovation hub.

The company was also awarded the Arab Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2025 in the Large Companies category, acknowledging its integrated sustainability strategy and alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals through long-term initiatives with local and international partners.

Zain Jordan’s digital leadership was further recognised with the Best Digital Transformation Initiative in the Telecommunications Sector 2025 from Global Economics magazine for its Agentic AI solution. The initiative reduced internal request processing time by 80 per cent, increased user satisfaction to 95 per cent, and saved more than 1,000 working hours annually. In addition, Zain Jordan won the Best 5G Network Expansion Award for its 5G Thin Layer innovation, enabling faster rollout and wider coverage without rebuilding existing networks while maintaining service quality.

On the workplace and sustainability front, Zain Jordan earned the Great Place to Work Certification 2025 and became the first telecom operator in Jordan to receive the EDGE Green Building Certification from the International Finance Corporation, highlighting its commitment to energy efficiency and environmental responsibility. Zain Group also ranked first in the telecom sector across Middle East markets in Forbes’ World’s Best Employers 2025.

The year concluded with Zain Jordan receiving the Women Inclusive Work Environment Award from UN Women, recognising its commitment to gender equality and inclusive workplace practices. As it enters its fourth decade, Zain Jordan reaffirmed its commitment to responsible innovation, sustainable growth, and strengthening Jordan’s position in the regional and global digital economy.
