Orange Jordan and JoPACC Sign MoU to Boost Fintech Skills and Digital Innovation

Orange Jordan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jordan Payments and Clearing Company (JoPACC) to strengthen collaboration between the digital and fintech sectors and support the development of national talent in line with rapid technological change.

The agreement focuses on empowering graduates of the Coding Academy at the Orange Digital Center by providing practical experience and applied opportunities aligned with labor market needs. This will be delivered through specialized training programs, joint innovation initiatives, hands-on project development, and structured engagement with the fintech ecosystem.

Orange Jordan CEO Eng. Philippe Mansour highlighted the launch of a new joint initiative with JoPACC, building on the long-standing fintech collaboration between the two organizations through Orange Money. He noted that the initiative reinforces Orange Jordan’s commitment to equipping Coding Academy students with real-world exposure, hands-on innovation, and market-ready skills. Mansour added that JoPACC’s support through JOIN Fincubator and BIG by Orange will help accelerate the translation of technical ideas into practical payment solutions and strengthen the adoption of advanced financial technologies across Jordan.

JoPACC CEO Maha Bahou described the partnership as an important step in creating meaningful connections between graduates and the fintech sector. She emphasized that empowering young talent is a long-term investment in the future of Jordan’s financial and technology industries. Through JOIN Fincubator, JoPACC will continue to support graduates with innovative fintech ideas, helping them transform concepts into scalable and implementable solutions that contribute to the country’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The Coding Academy’s impact was also highlighted, having graduated more than 1,020 students to date with an employment rate of 80 percent. The Academy has received national recognition, winning first place in the Al Hussein bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Work in its second edition within the corporate social responsibility category for for-profit organizations.
