Huawei Cloud, a pioneer in AI technology, continues to lead the way in industry intelligence, offering a full range of AI capabilities, from infrastructure and computing power to advanced Pangu Large Models. Dr. Zhu Shenggao, Director of the AI Department at Huawei Cloud Middle East and Central Asia, delivered a keynote speech exploring the transformative role of AI and cloud technologies in reshaping industries.

This initiative will feature AI-powered access control, intelligent asset management, an integrated multi-cloud media platform, and next-gen storage solutions, enhancing the customer experience in Qatar’s media and entertainment sector.
In another major development, the Qatar Digital Academy (QDA), under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), unveiled its partnership with Huawei to establish the QDA & Huawei ICT Academy. This initiative aims to equip Qatari professionals and government employees with essential ICT skills in areas such as 5G, cloud computing, and digital transformation. Through globally recognized certifications, the partnership seeks to bridge the digital skills gap and align with Qatar National Vision 2030 to create a smarter, technology-driven economy.
Huawei also expanded its cloud footprint in Qatar through strategic partnerships with local companies. PowerMind joined the Huawei Cloud Partner Network and Cloud Service Provider Program, enabling the Lusail-based provider to broaden its offerings with Huawei’s advanced cloud solutions. This partnership will leverage Huawei’s global ecosystem to accelerate innovation and business growth.
Data Voice Technology also partnered with Huawei to offer advanced PABX (Private Automatic Branch Exchange) services, leveraging Huawei’s cloud infrastructure to deliver scalable, cost-effective, and secure communication solutions for large enterprises and SMEs in Qatar.
Additionally, Aamal IT, a subsidiary of Aamal Company, formalized its collaboration with Huawei by joining the Huawei Cloud Partner Network. This partnership will combine Huawei’s cloud technologies with Aamal IT’s local market expertise to deliver innovative solutions.
Furthermore, Starlink, a key player in Qatar’s mobile and IT services sector, was appointed as a Huawei Cloud distributor. This collaboration will enable Starlink to build technical capabilities in cloud computing and infrastructure management, supporting its network of resellers with Huawei’s expertise and training programs.
