BENEFIT and General Assembly Bahrain Partner to Boost National Tech Talent Development

BENEFIT, a leading fintech and electronic financial transactions company in Bahrain, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with General Assembly Bahrain to support the growth and empowerment of national talent within the tech sector. The signing ceremony took place at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF).

The partnership grants BENEFIT access to General Assembly’s pool of trained professionals for recruitment and facilitates job matching through shared openings. It also includes launching specialized training programs focused on upskilling and reskilling through career development, accelerators, part-time courses, and bootcamps in various tech disciplines.

Beyond training, the agreement covers collaboration on joint events, career fairs, guest speaking opportunities, UX Design Capstone projects, and marketing initiatives.

Reyadh Almearaj, Chief Information Officer at BENEFIT, highlighted the collaboration as a strategic move to bridge training and employment, ensuring their technical teams gain advanced skills to support institutional growth and digital transformation.

Ms. Ahlam Oun, Director of General Assembly Bahrain, praised the partnership as a model for aligning education with real-world application, enhancing BENEFIT’s workforce capabilities and supporting sustained company growth.
