Riyadh — The Nemetschek Group, a global leader in software for the Architecture, Engineering, Construction and Operations (AEC/O) industry, has announced a strategic partnership with WakeCap Technologies, one of the Middle East’s most advanced construction technology companies. The collaboration aims to accelerate digital transformation across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region by merging Nemetschek’s global software expertise with WakeCap’s real-time, sensor-powered project intelligence platform.
Under the agreement, both companies will jointly pursue business opportunities, co-develop go-to-market strategies, and explore the integration of WakeCap’s technologies into Nemetschek’s leading software solutions such as Bluebeam, dTwin, and GoCanvas. The partnership is expected to redefine how construction and real estate projects across the GCC are planned, monitored, and executed.
WakeCap’s proprietary platform currently supports more than $100 billion worth of giga-projects in the region, with a database tracking over 150 million worker hours — the largest workforce dataset of its kind in the Middle East. Its technology has delivered measurable results, including over 90% reductions in safety violations, 25% productivity gains, and 70% faster incident response times. The platform is already mandated by major Saudi projects including Aramco, NEOM, and Qiddiya.
“This partnership marks a significant milestone in accelerating digital innovation across the Gulf’s construction ecosystem,” said Muayad Simbawa, Managing Director of Nemetschek Arabia. “Together with WakeCap, we are enabling smarter, safer, and more sustainable project delivery models aligned with regional development and sustainability goals.”
Marc Nezet, Group Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Division Officer of the Nemetschek Group, called WakeCap “one of the most innovative frontrunners in global construction tech,” adding, “By combining Nemetschek’s world-class software capabilities with WakeCap’s field-proven solutions, we can unlock transformative outcomes for the region’s construction industry.”
Dr. Hassan Albalawi, CEO and Founder of WakeCap, said the collaboration validates the company’s mission to redefine construction through real-time intelligence. “We’ve proven our technology can fundamentally change how giga-projects are delivered. Now, with Nemetschek’s global reach and software ecosystem, we’re setting a new benchmark for intelligent, data-driven project delivery starting here in the GCC.”
The partnership will also include knowledge exchange, joint participation in regional industry events, and the creation of whitepapers and thought leadership initiatives. Both companies will explore new synergies in infrastructure and resource management, where data-driven solutions are increasingly vital to efficiency and sustainability.
