The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) has announced that it has obtained the ISO 42001 certification for 2024, recognizing its implementation of international standards for artificial intelligence (AI) management systems.
This prestigious certification was awarded to SDAIA for its adoption of best practices and standards in various aspects of AI management, including planning, resource management, governance of operations, and the management of risks and opportunities. It also includes the analysis of the effects associated with AI.
The ISO certification acknowledges SDAIA’s achievement in balancing innovation with governance, integrating legislation related to data management and information technology, and continuously evaluating and improving its AI management system.
