Bahrain’s iGA CEO Honored by Kuwaiti Amir for Contributions to Informatics Award

Bahrain’s Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) CEO, Mohammed Ali Al Qaed, received recognition from His Highness the Amir of Kuwait for his distinguished role as a jury member in the 23rd edition of the His Highness Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Informatics Award.

Sheikha Aida Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Chairperson of the Award’s Board of Trustees, awarded Al Qaed a certification of appreciation, acknowledging his seven years of exceptional service as a jury member.

Expressing gratitude for the recognition, Al Qaed praised the warm reception and hospitality extended by the Award’s Board of Trustees and organizers. He conveyed well wishes for Kuwait’s continued success, particularly in digital and ICT initiatives.

Al Qaed commended the winning projects from participating Arab nations and thanked His Highness the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishaal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the Board of Trustees, and the Award’s organizers for facilitating the prestigious event’s 23rd edition.

Additionally, Al Qaed congratulated the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) for winning the Informatics Medal in its 17th edition. He lauded the CBB’s efforts in advancing banking services through digital transformation, emphasizing their dedication to excellence and extending wishes for further progress.

Highlighting the significance of the Informatics Award, Al Qaed underscored its role in empowering Arab countries with cutting-edge technologies and facilitating the exchange of successful experiences. He emphasized the Award’s impact on regional competitiveness, IT infrastructure advancement, and bridging the digital divide to enhance the quality of life across the Arab world.
