Muscat, Oman – Committed to supporting research, innovation, and knowledge exchange, Ooredoo proudly participated as the Telecom Partner for the International Conference on Innovative Engineering Sciences & Technological Research (ICIESTR 2024). This event marked the first IEEE international conference organized by the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS) in Oman.
The IEEE, or Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. ICIESTR 2024 brought together engineering and technology practitioners from industry, academia, and government, offering a platform to share insights and experiences. The conference covered a wide range of topics, including emerging technologies, sustainable engineering, artificial intelligence, robotics, renewable energy, data science, and the Internet of Things.
