Enoc Group has leveraged Commvault’s advanced AI-powered platforms to modernize its on-premises and cloud infrastructure, significantly improving operational efficiencies, reducing overheads, and ensuring business continuity across the group’s network.
In collaboration with Commvault, a leading provider of cyber resilience and data protection solutions, Enoc Group has implemented industry-leading hybrid cloud security and data protection systems. These systems address critical cybersecurity challenges, simplify data protection, and mitigate the risks and costs of managing a complex information environment.
By consolidating the backup and recovery solutions provided by Commvault Cloud HyperScale X and Commvault Cloud Backup & Recovery for Microsoft 365 into a single platform, Enoc Group can now restore data in just four hours instead of the previous 14 to 16 hours. This 67% reduction in restoration time for its ERP database across 220 fuel stations has significantly lowered operational expenses and doubled storage capacity, supporting seamless operations and reducing the risk of system failures.
Ensuring Data Security
Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO at Enoc, emphasized the importance of data security: “Keeping data safe and businesses resilient are integral to keeping Enoc Group’s varied business operations running efficiently and customer services functional. Enoc Group plays a pivotal role in supporting the sustainable growth of Dubai’s economy, and their trust in Commvault to modernize their cloud infrastructure proves that our comprehensive cyber resilience offerings are the top option for enterprise organizations.”
Modern Integrated Solutions
To protect the workloads of its vast network of fuel stations, Enoc Group utilized the modern integrated solutions offered by Commvault Cloud HyperScale X, providing high-performance backup and recovery, and enhanced protection from cyber threats and data breaches. This has streamlined Enoc Group’s hybrid cloud data management, reducing supply chain and business disruptions.
With Commvault Cloud HyperScale X, Enoc Group ensures a continuous supply of fuel to stations across different sites. Automating the backup and recovery process by replicating data between the main production site and the disaster recovery site has led to an 88% faster system recovery, minimizing downtime, and saving 66% of the time for Enoc Group’s IT personnel from daily hardware management tasks.
Significant OPEX Reduction
The group achieved a further 40% reduction in operating expenses (OPEX) by leveraging the SaaS cyber resilience solutions built in the cloud, which help preserve data copies outside of source environments. Commvault Cloud Backup & Recovery for Microsoft 365 protects Enoc Group’s data from ransomware attacks and accidental deletion or tampering, supporting the need for a SaaS-based backup solution to protect Microsoft 365 mailboxes.
Commvault’s AI-supported offerings continue to safeguard Enoc Group’s key digital assets, including 1PB of backend data in the main site and 1PB in the disaster recovery site, 100+ applications, including ERP and CRM systems, and 12 database clusters, among others.
