Rwanda has committed to supporting the Timbuktoo Africa Innovation Foundation, an initiative focused on accelerating digital development across Africa. Paula Ingabire, Minister of Information and Communications Technology and Innovation, made this pledge during the recent high-level meeting on the Timbuktoo Africa Innovation Initiative.
“The Timbuktoo Africa Innovation Foundation is not just another project,” Ingabire stated. “It is a visionary endeavour designed to transform the African innovation landscape by centering young people in the economic development of Africa. By establishing world-class innovation hubs and unlocking venture capital across the continent, we aim to create a fertile environment where our brightest minds can thrive, innovate, and contribute to the global digital economy.”
