Aluminium Bahrain (Alba), a global leader in aluminium production, solidified its digital transformation journey by signing an agreement with SAP to upgrade its enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution to SAP’s latest software – S/4HANA Cloud. This move accelerates Alba’s Industry 4.0 adoption, enhancing agility to meet evolving business demands.
The signing ceremony, held at Alba’s premises, featured Alba’s CEO, Ali Al Baqali, and SAP’s Senior Vice President for Middle East Africa – North, Ahmed Jaber Al-Faifi, alongside senior officials from both entities.
Al Baqali emphasized the transformative impact of the advanced solution, positioning Alba at the forefront of Industry 4.0. Leveraging real-time data and advanced computing, Alba aims to optimize operations and drive innovation in aluminium production, aligning with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.
